Rembrandt Hotel Knightsbridge
Originally commissioned at the end of the 19th century as luxury suites for Harrod's clients, the Rembrandt enjoys the timeless traditional qualities and ornate architecture of a country house right in the heart of London.
The Rembrandt combines luxury and excellent value in one of London's most desirable locations, opposite the Victoria and Albert Museum in Knightsbridge.Stand at the front door of the hotel and Harrods can be seen just 200 yards along the road. Shopping in the immediate vicinity of the hotel also includes Harvey Nichols, Conran and the famous designer shops and boutiques of Sloane Street.
This is probably one of the most convenient locations in London being only 800 yards from South Kensington underground station with direct links to Heathrow Airport, Victoria ( Gatwick Express ) and Paddington ( Heathrow Express ). Access to the City, West End Theatres, Nightlife and the Shopping Districts of Mayfair including Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street.
The public areas of this renowned hotel include the stylish Conservatory which provides a bright, informal setting for light snacks and traditional afternoon teas.
The Lounge Bar offers a warm, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with an abundance of comfy sofas centered around a roaring fire. In the evenings, rendezvous over a cocktail and enjoy the complimentary canapes as tranquil music from the grand piano soothes away a busy day.
The Master's Restaurant, offers a sumptious buffet style breakfast to suit all tastes including a traditional cooked breakfast, continental croissants and pastries, fresh fruit and cereals, yoghurts, cheeses and cold meats. Lunch and Dinner is served as a succulent roast from the Carvery which is complimented by a seasonal a la carte menu, both of which offer a good vegetarian selection.

The Rembrandt bedrooms are beautifully appointed and all feature ensuite bathroom, remote controlled television with satellite channels and in-house movies, radio, direct dial telephone, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press, double glazed windows and central heating. The bathrooms feature both an overhead power shower and bath complete with a range of personal toiletries. Room service is available 24 hours a day with an extensive range of light meals and refreshments.

EXECUTIVE BEDROOMS:

Other in-house services include air conditioned public areas, dedicated non-smoking rooms, car hire, 24 hour concierge and porter service, secretarial services, safety deposit boxes at reception, theatre and tour reservations and laundry and valet services.
Triple rooms are available on request, however there are no rooms capable of accommodating 4 persons. There are 2 car parks to the rear of the hotel (Chelsea Cloisters). The Rembrandt concierge can arrange discounted rates on arrival at the hotel.
MEETING FACILITIES:
For the conference organiser there are a superb range of meeting rooms all with natural daylight and soundproofing for up to 200 delegates. There are also an additional 6 syndicate rooms. For further information on meetings contact our conference desk.
BEDROOM CAPACITIES:
Unfortunately, there are no rooms capable of taking more than 3 persons - including children. For an alternative which has good large family rooms see the Holiday Inn Kings Cross.
IN OUR OPINION: A traditional British styled hotel which is well maintained and offers a superior location being surrounded by shops, restaurants, museums and pubs....Excellent value for money...high recommendation.
